The band interviews were - more or less - tremendous...once again, like parts of the DVD, there are things that perhaps could have been done differently - the band interview doesn't include Greg Bailey or Paul Simmons...but it does give some significant insight into the people they do interview for ...

I enjoyed the editing, and I thought the DVD was done very well given the circumstances - Inpop doesn't have the resources of a major movie studio. I trust everyone knows that. Of course, since I'm 24 and enjoyed the editing, I must be ADHD - some of you have suggested that. I'm not saying the DVD w...

I AGREE WITH ENOSH!!!!!!!!!!! That being said, I have posted my own comments below. I personally enjoyed the editing - thought it was done very well...but then again, I'm 24...according to some people that post here, that automatically makes me ADHD because I'm young and enjoyed the way the concert ...

It's a good thing you put the "Just kidding" warning on the top of that, man...I was about to lay into you something fierce...now I don't get to do that... Anyway, I have epilepsy, and had no issues with the Farewell DVD. I also enjoyed the way it was edited and put together - I thought th...

I experience the same thing. I have a low-end DVD player by Cyberhome that's about 18 months old where the sound is always just a bit off, including action scenes. However, on my Sony DVD player, which is about 3 1/2 years old, I have no such problems (with one exception on a TV series I own where o...

Well, technically, it wasn't the song "This Means War." We took basic concepts and rythym patterns from the song and used it as a foundation for the cadence, and added stuff to it. I like to think of it as a variation and expansion on the theme of "This Means War." Our cadence was never submitted fo...

There are several songs I like on this album - This Means War, He Came..., You Are My Rock, Kenaniah, and All The King's Horses (to name a few). I don't care for the ballads (there are very few rock ballads by any group that I like, anyway - so this isn't unusual). That being said, although all the ...

HEAD EAST. The secular band John Schlitt was in, then got kicked out of, because of drug/alcohol abuse. Ten lashes with a wet noodle for not knowing that, Epyon. That was a few years before John was in Petra; that was in the 70s. Not everyone will be aware John was in a secular band before he...

I wonder if they ever toured with this classic rock band..... http://www.johnschlitt.net/PicPages/HE/Band1977.jpg This is probably going to catch me a lot of fire...but oh, well... The picture I think is of Petra (I think that is Bob Hartman on the far right) - but I am having trouble recognizing t...

I vote for "King's Ransom" largely to to the lyrics of the song, but I also like the songs "Back to the Street," "Whole World," and "Fool's Gold." The rest of the album is about average for me...and also not one of my favorites although there are good parts to it. I agree, though - certain songs see...

There isn't much else that I can add to this thread that hasn't already been said. Inpop literally extended Petra's life by 5 full years. As fans, we may not always get what we want, but we should (and are) very thankful for what we did get. I personally will always be grateful for those last five y...

Right now, I have the CITAS cd in my car's player...usually, I skip over the tracks where they talk...but today on my way to work I let it run...on the speech right before "Hollow Eyes," John Lawry says that he was "an abandoned orphan in Japan" - at least, I think that's what he says. Can someone e...
