You guys have done a great job. Your contributions have helped Chris compile 430 poll responses as of this morning. However, he still wants more, and I know that there are a bunch of people here who haven't taken the survey. Please follow the link and take the survey if you haven't done so already. ...

Good news - since I posted this link here and at the Christian Metal Realm, Chris's survey responses have increased from 14 to 211.

Keep up the good work - and if you have any thoughts on the subject of the survey, post them here.

No way. I've bought at least that many myself!

Actually, I've bought two (as gifts) and been given two (as gifts).

We've made Chris happy - he's received 30 new completed surveys today. You guys are doing a great job! Remember, this isn't a test, it's a survey. He just wants to know what you think. Those of you who haven't done so yet, please follow the link and complete the survey. Those of you who have already...

Do a favor for a divinity student.

I tried to post this link yesterday, and it was no good. Today it's been fixed. A very good friend of mine is studying for his Master's of Divinity at a seminary in Retford, England. For an important project he needs to tally and analyze at least 300 responses to a survey that he created. So far he'...

For me it was No Doubt. The songs weren't as rocky, the keyboards were too prominent, the guitar was deemphasized, and Bob left. For me, as for most fans in the late '80s and early '90s, Bob was the band. John was the singer Bob needed to sing his songs. Louie was the great drummer/comic relief. But...

Shara, would you please post the same info over at the Inpop Petra board? The question has been posed there as well.

The revamped Judas Kiss had a great guitar break, and it would be good if that had been on the CD. I also think Perfect World was the best song on the J&H CD and I wish that had been on the CD. Lastly, I love to hear Petra perform Lord I Lift Your Name on High . It's become a compulsory part of thei...

I voted for Where Can I Go, but I really dig the drum solo from Woman Don't You Know. It sounds like he's playing the drums with mallets instead of sticks during that drum break, then it ends with a huge Kung Fu gong...awesome.

Only this: back about a month ago someone (maybe Shara?) said that a release date in March was more likely.

In September 2004 Greg told me that some new songs had been written and they were waiting to get into the studio. Evidently they never got any farther than that.

I spent years dreaming of the day that Petra would drop keyboards altogether and play real rock and roll, so although it was nice to have Lawry back for nostalgia's sake, I think he played long enough.

Frankly, I thought that Beyond Belief would have sounded better without the extra noise.

Inpop is a pretty good, small record label. They're like a lot of small businesses - they don't necessarily have departments with staffs specializing in each individual function of the company. Instead they have people doing big jobs, handling a lot of responsibility and doing the best they can. Tha...
