Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints

John's pose kind of looks like he just finished shooting a basketball lol. Absolutely nothing even even remotely reich'ish about that pose. I see enthusiasm in that picture from all of them. That enthusiasm reflects in the songs which, from what I've heard, all sound very good.

Re: Petra at Illinois State Fair

speaking of Kickstarter, I hadn't realized that Bloodgood had used Kickstarter for their record that was just released in the past year. It's a great record and had I known I would've joined their campaign. I sure would throw my support behind a new Petra project, and definitely would for another S...

I thought it was great, the asboestes was falling off the Sam Houston Coliseum ceiling. I always thought It would b...

Re: John Schlitt's Christmas album!!!!

I enjoyed it - good album. My two favorite tracks are "Do You Hear What I Hear" and "Good Christian Men Rejoice". "O Holy Night" is a nice arrangement.

Re: New take on Never Been Any Reason

The problem with fixing the system in this country is that the left doesn't want to do it because many of the people hooked on the system are their voting base. The more people they can get hooked, the more votes they hope to get by accusing the right of wanting to take away their benefits. Speakin...

Re: New take on Never Been Any Reason

It is not the job of our government to fix poverty. The original, limited, job of the government is to provide protection for the land, the people, trading, etc. The government does not have the responsibility of creating jobs, wealth, etc. Those things are up to the citizens. Those things are up t...

Re: Is Petra done?

Well, I've been to enough concerts and been around John enough to know he's strong willed too. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that; in fact, you have to be to survive in the music biz. I'd actually rather deal with someone like that than someone who is a backstabber. Strong willed people ...

Re: Is Petra done?

I am the only guy on here who has recorded Louie. I can tell you that his style is NOT J&H. He loves pop. If he could be Jeff Procaro he wouldbe. He is into drummers that most hear would not like if they heard them. I had to really push and edit to get what I wanted, and he was cool with that. He s...

I wasn't referring to anything specifically with this band. I have no clue what went on behind the scenes with CP. Nor do I have desire to know.

Re: Time to hang it up?

Okay, you know what, in the big scheme of things, whether anyone has "inside sources" or knows what goes on behind the scenes does not really matter, and the world is not going to end because of people not knowing what happened with Classic Petra. They are not obligated to let everyone in on what g...

Re: Time to hang it up?

I think we need to consider what God's will is for mankind. God's will is that none should perish, yet we know there is a hell, and there will be a judgement of the saved and the lost. We know that believers will have the blood of the lost on their hands in judgement. That right there tells me that...
