Re: Neal Schon Blasts Bandmates for Meeting With Trump

Deen has two projects going at the moment. One of the album's will be released in September. That is the Revolution Saints record. They will be doing some touring. I can't recall with the other project is and I don't remember if they are touring or not.

Re: Neal Schon Blasts Bandmates for Meeting With Trump

That was good.

I would pay for a tuned down show with Perry. JC has got to go. He doesn't look like he wants to be there. They can play to keyboard tracks. They already have tracks amyway... or have someone else play. Nobody would really care.

Re: Neal Schon Blasts Bandmates for Meeting With Trump

According to Neal's tweets yesterday, the guys had a meeting at the manager's office, discussing what should and should not be publicized in the band's name. JC has been doing work with his wife, Paula White, and has been pimped as a member of Journey at Paula White events. He is a member of Journey...

My suggestions for new bassist are Tracy Ferrie, Ronny Cates, Mark Kelly, or Butch Dillon
Mark Kelly is supposedly done with music after the Classic Petra deal ended. None of those Christian guys match stylistically, IMO.

Re: Stryper question

Michael has been touring solo acoustic. He used James to record and be in his videos. That's who my money is on, since they have worked on Sweet Lynch and the solo records together.

Re: Stryper question

Everyone has their opinion. I don't think it matters if the bass player is a Christian or not to Micheal. Having that label doesn't necessarily = authenticity. There are no guarantees any of us are truly Christians on and off our stages.

Re: Stryper question

Mike has lots of friends in the secular world, which is where I think he will pull from.

Re: Recommendations on Christian Rock

I would add: Servant (When you listen to their stuff, you will hear musical and sonic hints of Golden Earring, The Clash, and other people on the radio at the same time.) You can play their songs today and lyrically they still fly. Here are the rock and metal artists I used to play on radio. The qua...

I....had a dream

Last night, I had a dream, that J Schlitt was in town. He was taking a cassette tape of demos around, to get feedback from young kids. He was wearing lots of chains and had bell bottoms on. We went to a small Mexican church, with lava lamps, swirling lights in a restaurant. I have to quit eating bef...

They are likely working around JL's studio schedule. They have to pay the bills.

Re: Live It Loud!

I know Louie had his feelings hurt. We could have some conversations off-line about this stuff all day long. By "limbo", I meant for Louie. The band was without a singer and Back To The Street's drum tracks were recorded with MIDI mapped drum samples IIRC. Louie did overdubs, as seen on video, but t...

Re: Live It Loud!

Petra's ownership and business structure was based upon shares. Louie chose not to have shares in the Star Song days. I know this first hand, because when Picture This was signed to Star Song, Darrell Harris (Star Song's President) told us our contract and ownership docs came from Petra's. He told u...

The words that struck me hardest were "What are you looking for the devil for, when you ought to be looking for the Lord?"
