Re: CPR

I am not too certain that it can be concluded that Louie did not play drums on the record. I think we only know with certainty that others did play percussion to some extent but whether or not Louie played something or nothing is hard to figure out looking at the cover.

Re: Pushing too many boundaries

To be honest I am not surprised at all and it would take a lot for me to be surprised by anything coming from the drama queens in their spandex dresses. They love this game.

Re: Louie BTTS

Sorry but I have first hand knowledge of the recording sessions with the band(just talked to someone that was there throughout the recording) and especially with the WUC sessions and McHugh played a very small role in the making of WUC on the percussion side of the sound and was actually in the stu...

Re: Stryper question

Michael Sweet on the new bass player: "He’s a great bass player. He’s got a great look, he’s a great singer. He’s well known and comes from a very successful band and everyone will know who he is. I just can’t announce it at this time. The most important thing about him is he’s a great guy. And we r...

Re: Stryper question

That still does not change the fact that if he started touring with three other guys, people would start to wonder whether this was Stryper or not. The other guys sure had their influence on the sound and feel, and though Michael Sweet writes most of the songs historically he did not write all and h...

Yeah....

All of those guys work for "the man". He IS Stryper.
Not really. He was actually not happy about the fact that they would have to find a new bass player, he has made solo records and Stryper even toured without him for a short period. So he is very important but he is not Stryper.

Re: Stryper question

I think you have got at point, and I do think they will pick someone who is a Christian. But we will have to wait and see.

Re: CPR

Anybody figure out Ronny's mystery song yet? I can't make heads or tails of it. The chorous sounds a lot like "it is finished". The final part of it also sounds a bit like the ending of the chorus of "this means war". Very typical Petra (Bob) melody phrase. Very melodic, takes away a bit of the roc...

Homosexuals and the Russian Orthodox Church

I think this article is of importance in order to understand what the Russian Orthodox church is actually teaching and how they support the Russian Governement in its grotesque politics: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/head-of-russian-orthodox-church-blames-the-rise-of-isis-on-the-god...

Re: Guardian/Whitecross album

Interesting stuff. It has certainly been quite a while since I saw them the last time. I hardly recognized anyone on the picture. Interesting to see how Rex Carrol is going to sound playing Tony's stuff. He seemed to always sound roughly the same and use the same techniques. Wonder if he is going to...

Re: Privacy nonsense

You are absolutely right about that. But the fact is that it is not even in our own interest as private citizens that much of government data is available. It could be used by foreign governments too for bad purposes. One should also wonder what would happen if any of the big data collecters decided...

Re: Privacy nonsense

You are right about the fact that if you want to be completely certain your data is not out there, you have to just stay off the internet. For most people that is no longer possible or at least it will have very important cosequences. 20 years ago it was a lot easier. There are tools that will make ...

I never got the impression that you meant any disrespect. It is absolutely fair to differ on these matters.
