Guitarists - Looking for "The Right Place" tabs
About six months ago I started learning to play guitar, picking up some tabs here and there to practice on. I listened to "The Right Place" the other day and thought that would be a good song to get a tab for and practice on. However, no where among the many Petra tabs on the internet can I find one...

Your comfort and prayers, from all of you, is appreciated. My thoughts are not suicidal, thank goodness, depressing yet, suicidal no. My comment about meeting Christ in Heaven meant that sometimes I feel the stuff we have to deal with in this world is meant to make us realize that Earth is just our ...

I'm hurting ...
Brave fronts aren't cutting it with me any more. I am writing this in pain because I am tired of constantly feeling I am all alone, that no one wants to listen to me, that I only fit into someone's plans when I have something to offer and am not even given a second thought when I cant, rejected by f...

A personal post and a request...
Hi to all the Petheads. Forgive me, this is more a personal post than Petra or Jesus related, but considering we are brothers and sisters in Christ I thought I would turn here among other places. I found myself in a financial bind over the last few monthsthe affects of moving cross country for a ...

Gods blessing of Petra:Farewell a day early...
...nice present in the mail when I got home from work :). Listening to Creed right now. I will try to follow up with a complete review later but first thoughts, comparing the two live shows I saw (Vancouver and Spokane WA) and the CD. The live show really featured the rythym section (loud but GOOOOD...

Prayer please...
a variety of real world situations has hit me all at once...some I can share now, some I can not based on confidentiality of family members. But to sum it up, I feel very alone even within the fellowship of Bros and Sis' in Christ, not for any real reason I can think of. Depressed is not the word I ...

My thanks as well for Inpop for getting behind Petra in a mighty way the last few years. I was hoping to thank Peter Furler in person for his efforts with Inpop and Petra as he was in my town for a concert this evening. Newsboys are awesome. That didnt work out, but as always the concert was awesome...

Uh...does having close to a forty to fifty song play list count?:) I think the point of the exercise is no way they are ever going to play every single Petra song on my dream list, but it is fun exercise. For example, always liked "Breathe In" from Double Take, but would Pete Orta come on board for ...

I realize that many bands have musicians that back them in the studio and that are properly credited. I think what part of my problem was during the JDB era...the liner notes pretty much listed the band as the band. I fell away from Petra around the time John Schlitt came on board (not because of hi...

PETRA ... SUPERGROUP?!?!?!
Funny as this sounds, while typing a previous post of musicians that have played for Petra and their roles, my weird though process of "if Louie was just a live drummer for most of his Petra career, does this mean Peter Furrer should be considered one of Petra's drummers and therefore an honorary me...

So who played what?
I am taking the post subject off on a tangeant for a minute so please bare with me. This question of who really played what instruments in Petra recordings has found itself in several posts in one form or another but I have to admit the one thing I was disappointed in when I "rediscovered" Petra a f...

Can we confirm an October 4 webcast?
I was mentioned in the live CD/DVD thread but nothing has been officially said. I guess I mean confirm both in getting a definite answer from Inpop, W247, and THE BAND itself, and what it would take to make such a webcast a reality. Of course, factors to weigh include two types of costs ... the cost...

WHAT!!! I CANT HEAR YOU. Wait until the ringing... actually Creation West is held in a giant outdoor ampitheater over looking a gorge in the Columbia River. We sat usually either in the middle or top of the bowl so the music itself was not loud. And the view of the stage and screen were pretty good....
