An episode of my YouTube show dedicated to the song "Love"

Hi everybody!!! Remember me? I recently started a YouTube show called This is my story This is my song. It is usually about the songs I have written and the stories behind them. As an add on to the show I have just now began what I call the This is my story "Inspirational shorts". This is where I wi...

If you go see an artist whose music had meant a lot to you and they've changed the feel, progression, and what made the song memorable, then it doesn't feel ...

Re: Wanted: "Sleeping Giant" tabs, chords, scales

Thanks D-Pethead. We put a lot of time and effort into getting that right for the fans because we were fans. Your comment is what we heard over and over again. To be told that we sounded more like Petra than Petra did at the time was something I'll always cherish. That and performing Jekyll and Hyde...

Hello my fellow Petheads from Enosh!!!

Hello all. It has been forever since I've been on here. I am friends with many of you offline or through different social media so I don't always get out here. Many of you have followed my endeavors over the years from playing with John in Andband to Antioch and Some Strange Way. I appreciate that s...

Re: Van Halen - Tattoo (Single)

Simply put....I like it. I've always preferred DLR to Sammy. Not because I thought Dave was the better singer, (he's not) but because Dave was the better front man. Sammy is great but it's not Van Halen without Dave. I find it funny how easy it is for us to talk about Dave aging and not able to hit ...

Re: New Idea that needs input from users

I vote yes...

1. Because I think it's cool for people to get exposure for their music.

Re: CP

I get what you're saying but there is nothing that makes the abbreviation CP have to stand for anything. I think it's just fine if people want to refer to Classic Petra as "CP" those are the Proper initials.

Re: NO DOUBT

Preacher, You just listed off 5 of the songs on the album that you like. How is that a bad album? I'm sorry, I know and understand what it's like when a Petra album didn't live up to what we thought. God Fixation was a prime example of that. That album had to grow on me and I still feel that there a...

Re: Hard Rock

the spirit of the old music was not captured, and John said that himself. He could not understand why the new guys would not play Bobs parts and wanted to change things, failing to capture the elements that made the songs magical. Exactly. That is what John liked about AndBand. We actually strived ...
