This discussion is so disgusting, because it's so shallow! OK, Bush won the election (sorry), I did not vote in US (thank God I AM BRAZILIAN). But, the equation republicans=Godly / democrats=ungodly is a shame! Jimmy Carter, a born again Christian, is a democrat! I did write here in the past that am...

My daughter's photolog
Hi, everyone, please visit my daughter's photolog: it's vigomes.fotopages.com. "Why should I do this", you can ask. Well, I'll answer you: 1. Because she is soo cute! :D 2. Because she is a little pethead (when I listen to Jekyll & Hyde, she shakes her head and jumps, trying to dance! ); and 3...

We usually have a dualistic vision of the world. So, we think some things are spiritual, and some things are secular. According to the Scriptures, there's not such a vision like that. So, Romans 13 does not refers only to "God's institution", such as the Church (Church-institution, not Church-body),...

I understand the Church is the Body of Christ, not the Structure (in a sense of a human thing) of Christ. So, if a leader breaks God's law, it's only his fault, or is our fault too, when we are so admired about his religious words that we forgot to admonish him prophetically according to the Scriptu...

The Bible says in Romans 13.1, 2 (NIV): "everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that wich God has established. The Authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God...

When I did watch the "Revival" DVD, I remember (when my brain works) I did watch some kind of "The Coloring Song" video (well, a part of, where Greg looks like a Fidel Castro's fan, with that huge beard  !) and a friend of mine said she did watch "Godpleaser". If it's true, where can I download...

I'm not so sure... I have "Petra en Alabanza". But I prefer the original in English. Some music styles fits better in English, other in Portuguese, other in Spanish, and so on... As, I think, it will be weird to listen "me sinto como Jekill y Hyyyyde!", it would be weird to listen a samba in Norwegi...

Some videos
Do someone have the videos of the albums before John Schlitt and "Petra Praise", PP2", "Revival", "Double Take", "Back to the Street" (except for "Whole World"), "This Means War!" and videos from solo career of Greg X. Volz? I want to collect them all, and I have almost 1 GB of videos from Petra!

I know that Americans love their country and I commend you for it. But American patriotism does have a problem. To the outside world there is a risk of becoming arrogance. I'm not accusing anyone here. You are truly wonderful for standing up for what you believe in. But you can at least try to imag...

Quote: Please, be civilized. You first. Dear separateunion, I said that I was out of this discussion. Please, if you want to talk about a lot of things, even about political issues, that's ok, but not offend me (as I didn't offend you) or try to be confrontative (as I did not). If you disagree with...

You know something, it was a comment like this in the first thread that started the bickering in the first place, and it came from the same person. You, sir, are fixated on the idea that being pro-American and supporting our president is somehow tantamount to idolatry. Please, be civilized. Basical...

Hi, it's me again, but don't worry, no political issues this time  !! I think they can do a bigger stuff. Why don't Petra lead a movement to help the people of Iraq and Afghanistan to rebuild their countries, like the Live Aid concert, or "We Are the World" record (without Michael Jackson, of c...

Im tired
I do agree with Michael. Im tired of this never-ending discussion. Its all started because I posted my opinion about Iraqs war. Ill not convince no one, and no one will convince me, about political issues. So, lets finish it. If youre a democrat, ok, God bless you. If youre a re...
