That's typical. Drummers always think that they and the drums are more important. Ask a guitar player and he will say the same thing. If drums made the style, Metallica would be pop rock now. And, in actuallity, there isn't much of Lars playing on Metallica records, just like there was never much of...

I am telling you, you can't reason with these morons. They are a right wing cult unto themselves.

It should be interesting.

Look for a hipper, less conservative choice this time around. The Catholic religion/church has faced all time lows in attendance and revenues.

How odd it must be to pick the "man" to be in the office of "God on earth".

Led Zepplin was metal, Def Leppard was metal, Van Halen was metal all in their day. Petra's catalog now would be considered to me to be just rock. You have to look that the overall classification that the marketing people would use, or that the retailer would put them in. I most certainly would not ...

Re: Tim Gaines

Does anybody know if Tim Gaines will be included in this project? I know he had to quit last fall because of some health reasons with his wife, but they acted like it would be temp. Tim is no longer in Stryper, for any reason, anytime. Has nothing to do with his wife's health from what I have heard...

It was odd to see "brentgotnofriends" listed. Maybe if is self fulfilling prophecy or how the guy feels. But he has my name too. Creepy.

That's true. If you look at the prog rock bands, the 80's metal bands, etc, they are thriving over there. They can't get enough of it. It is tough tour over there, but concentration of people = more people covered per air waves, and more soldout venues than in the US. Good night, even PDC is getting...

The site said 3-4 weeks for delivery. The release date was 03/15/05. So you guys should see them anytime. The benefit of ordering early was that all US and Foreign CD's were $2 cheaper, and all Foreign orders got a $2 discount on shipping. We got another 5k units in today. So hoefully you guys will ...

Help me tell the "church" about CCM

In response to several ill-informed Blogs on the internet about CCM being of the devil, etc, I am going to create the utlimate answer to all sides of the argument. What I desire is to know what teachings you have received AND the bible verse used. For instance, I was taught that Lucifer was the "che...

I predict an Inpop best of with a few new songs. I know nothing, just guessing. Seriously, the next one needs some money behind it, so that it sells more than 75k copies. If they were to get a bit more edge, dare I say metal, they could get more of the Japanese, European, etc markets. US market is d...

Yeah, I have it. It's called "Sinners in the hand of an angry God". He sent it to me a year or two ago. It may be purchased here: http://www.yahwehmusic.com/JDB.htm I saw him at a studio I was renting gear to in OKC, www.upstairsproductions.com while he was tracking his new band. He is producing/man...

Sonically, I miss the work of JDB. Greg dates Petra. But JDB's mixes hold up over time. The Elepetra sound I could live without. I like the tunes, not the sonics.

Could it be that after Petra has exhausted the resources at Inpop that they will head over to the Elefonte's new label?
