Re: remembering Beyond Belief

I didn't even hear Petra until 2012... except for when "Lord, I lift your name on high" used to be played on the radio. I guess I'm the only person here who isn't super old  8)

Re: Vinyl & Hyde

It really doesn't matter if socialism is communism, since neither work. Practically speaking, Socialism=starving the nation relatively slowly, Communism=starving the nation KILLER FAST. You can never get something for nothing.

Re: Greg X Volz New Website & Possible Classic Petra Revamp.

I vote for the name "Greg X Volz"... High Voltage would be a great album name... especially if they could make it more of a synth-rock type album with John Lawry. Kirk Henderson could do the guitar, and it would be KILLER AWESOME! At least that's how I would do it. 8) Greg would probably have to use...

Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints

It impresses me as a kind of look-how-popular-and-in-touch-with-today-we-are, while that's not really what they are. It's too frivolous for a serious rock band that haven't proven themselves yet. I could see this work as a third/fourth album photograph of an established rock band (and then somewher...

Re: Cheap Cheap Cheap

Apart from Petraphonics, there really isn't any Petra compilation worth getting. But what was the reason for one anyway? Petra albums are almost always either all good or all bad, so you if you like one song from an album, you should like the rest. The cover art industry died with the LP. Good reaso...

Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints

As a Coloradan, "weed" only makes me think of one thing... so I'm wondering, who in Petra smoked weed? :|  Of course, dandelions don't grow where I live, so that isn't the first thing I'd think of anyway 8)

Re: Done w/Lyrics, Questions for John Slick

One thing I find annoying about former Petra members is their insistence upon shunning the albums they weren't on; We all know that there were at least six different bands all claiming to be Petra; Bob Hartman had many bands, and named them all the same thing. But constantly bringing it up makes you...

Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints

The shading on John Schlitt's face is somewhat messed up, but one only thinks about that if they've seen the first picture.

Re: John Slick

This guy knows to much about several things to not be "the real Slick"; If he wasn't him before, then he should be now. :)

I do wonder what he looks like though...

My First Recording...

Here it is, the announcement you've all been waiting for!

We are now ready to release the first-ever recording of the band Zebedee!

So here it is; it does have some mistakes... but overall I'd say it's MEGA-AWESOME! 8)
