Watched Simon Phillips on You Tube over the weekend. Awesome drummer. I was somewhat familiar with Toto, but not him.

This week I've started listening to Disciple's Vultures EP. Not as good as their previous full length album, but still worth buying.

I'll have to check out Simon Phillips.

Last week I listened to the latest Newsboys album, Love Riot. It's ok I guess, but I definitely feel that it could have been done better. There are no bad Petra albums, just ones that are not as good.

Went to the thrift store yesterday and found Petra's Beat the System LP and Styper's Yellow and Black attack (blue vinyl - round sleeve) for a dollar each. Boo yah!

I started listening to Needtobreath's "Live from the Woods" album today. It's great because it has the embellished versions of their songs that their studio albums don't have.

They are definitely talented.
Glad to hear they are being more up front with their Christian beliefs.
After hearing about their song, Big Screen Lies, I wonder what movie(s) MS has watched that he felt portrayed Christians as "buffoons."

This week I've been listening to two more CD's that I bought at the thrift store for 50 cent each:
Audioslave - Revelations (solid music, but some of the guitar solos are weird to me)
Lincoln Brewster - Amazed ( a VERY good guitarist)

It's interesting, when the "Youth of a Nation" song came out by POD, it was inspired by Columbine shooting, and other incidents. Who knew that years later how much worse things would become.
