Another thing John Schlitt really likes: roasted peanuts. He ate a TON of them from the dishes in our backstage area. The band also loved the salad, chicken, scalloped potatoes, Italian sausage, and green beans we had backstage. They also enjoyed the wide array of desserts that we provided. Here are...

The tour rider was not specific at all regarding which foods to provide, aside from drinks - the promoter was to provide plenty of bottled water and Coke products. When I spoke with Wayne Seboa and Adam Hall of Petra's management team, they only specified "no pasta or pizza please, but feel free to ...

For what it's worth (and we all know it's not much), petraband.com is also gone. It appears that Petra's site is hosted by Inpop, or at least hosted by the same company as who hosts Inpop's site. The websites of other Inpop recording artists, including Tree63, Sarah Brendel, Superchick, and several...

Anyways, what do all you diehards recommend I get for my first album? First, I would recommend purchasing a copy of Nineteen Eighty Seven (available through www.girdermusic.com )- it was just released late last year, and is their "reunion" record - featuring both Rex Carroll and Scott Wenzel along ...

I am really suprised it would go that high. You can buy one of the "33 year anniversary" models from Bob himself for less (and it's a MUCH better guitar). And I think he will autograph it before he sends it. I agree. As a guitarist, I have always disliked Squier guitars - they are fine for the aspi...

I think it is a Fender Squire how much do they retail for in USA? Yes, it is a Fender Squier - the model is a Bullet Special, and typically retails in the U.S. for $99.99 (the "list" price is $165.99). It also comes in a couple other colors, including "ice blue metallic." Here is a large photograph...

I hope nobody took me that seriously on my previous posts about the cats. I appreciated your humor, and I doubt anyone actually took your comments seriously. Thanks for the laughs! By the way, our cats were not even phased by the Petra CD, although one of them takes off running when a CD with a lot...

Wanted: Youngstown pics

In response to the dozens of emails I have received over the past couple months, I have decided to keep the Bring PETRA to Youngstown! site running (although I will likely convert it into a fan site gradually). Anyway, I am working on posting over 70 different photographs taken from backstage and du...

2 days to go... The concert also just happens to be on our wedding anniversary. The timing couldn't have been better! WE CAN'T WAIT!!!! Wow - happy anniversary! What a nice treat to celebrate the occasion. :) I can't wait for the show, either. In these last couple days, I have been both exci...

On a related note to the above discussion, one thing that has been irking me lately is how Christian bookstores (not just Family Christian) sell NON-CHRISTIAN music. Last year, I had the chance to audition as a guitarist for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - an opportunity that I passed on, for the sim...

Roll Call: Youngstown, Ohio

How many of you are planning on attending Petra's show next Sunday (Nov 13th) in Youngstown?

To those who are planning on going: have you already bought your tickets in advance, or will you buy them at the box office on the day of the show?

Because the show has been posted to H2O Artist Agency's site, I would say that it's official - especially since H2O is the agency booking the tour. Granted, all tour dates are subject to change without prior notice, so perhaps the promoter for John's solo show backed out, or perhaps the Petra date f...
