Re: Favorite Petra concert
Yeah, it was a good show. PP2 wasn't my favorite album, but the band performed well, in spite of Bob's absence.

Also, loving the new "Victorious" album from Skillet. Lots of good tunes.

Stryper: THWTD vs. SUC
I'm not really familiar with the "Talk is Jericho" show, but a friend told me about this podcast that pits "To Hell With the Devil" vs. "Soldiers Under Command". Some real Stryper geeks here. Also, some of the language isn't great. Some minor Petra references as well. https://omny.fm/shows/talk-is-j...

Marc Martel/Bohemian Rhapsody
Marc Martel, former Downhere vocalist, has been singing with several Queen tribute bands in recent years. I didn't realize that some of his vocals were used in the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie that was recently released... https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/20/arts/music/marc-martel-queen-freddie-mercury-...

Re: Beat the System- The album
I like Beat the System more as time goes by. Yesterday I put on "It is Finished" for our family to listen to the car on our way to our Easter Sunday service. It's my official Easter soundtrack.

Re: Road to Zion by the Franz Family
Sorry, I couldn't find a video for "Road to Zion". Here is a sample of one of their other songs... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6KApfD-cI4
The sister playing the bass sings lead on "Road to Zion". Very talented family.

Road to Zion by the Franz Family
Has anyone heard the Franz Family version of "Road to Zion"? They came to our church a number of years ago and that was the first time I heard it. I tried to find a link, but the only place I found it is on Amazon. They are a really talented family.

Re: Whitecross Fans?
My friends and I would listen to the "Hammer and Nail" album when it came out. I still listen to that one. I also enjoyed some of the remakes done by "The Great Whitecross and Guardian Revival". I really like Rex Carroll's guitar work.

Re: Best Petra Album of the 80's
Ok, so I need to chime in on the album on album violence that's occurring here. Personally, I feel that both TMW and BTTS are very good albums. Shaking the House is the first Petra song that I ever remember hearing. Love that tune, but please don't trash TMW. TMW title track is an all-time great Chr...
