Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints
I love the front photo. But the back photo is bad unfortunately for me because of the way John is doing his hand.

PFR
I first heard PFR after I picked up their Great Lengths album on a whim years ago. More recently PFR were going to do a kickstarter project, but one or more of the band members had some unexpected family issues to tend to so the kickstarter campaign was cancelled, and the band called it a day for go...

Re: The Union of Sinners & Saints
I ready on facebook that John Ellis had to go back to South Africa to take care of some personal business. He's still technically a part of the band, but will only be able to do concerts with the band on very select dates.

Re: CCM INDUSTRY IS A FRAUD.
I like music that challenges my faith. Unfortunately, praise and worship music doesn't do that for me, at least not lately. Radio is over-saturated with it. So much so that maybe that's why I don't enjoy my church's worship service like I used to. Sad to say, but when I hear it at church, I'm ready ...

Re: dcTalk
Thanks for the info brent. There are things behind the scenes that artists deal with just like us.
I'm not a fan of Max's solo voice either, but he blends well with dctalk.

Hey Brent,
Could you elaborate on your statement:
"I don't know if there has been enough time for the industry and some offended believers to have gotten over events of the past."

dcTalk
Been listening to dcTalk's Jesus Freak (1995) and Supernatural (1998) albums this week. Jesus Freak is one of my favorite albums of all time, and was certainly what Christian rock needed at the time of it's release. I would love to see dcTalk reunion, with maybe Kevin Max, Newsboys, and Toby Mac ope...

Skillet
Been listening to Skillet this week. His voice is an acquired taste, but pretty good music and lyrics.

Re: What music have you been listening to lately?
I forgot to add that I also started listening to Head East's Flat as a Pancake. I had never listened to it before and most of it is pretty good. I found the CD at a records shop. I paid $6 for it, which was more than I wanted to; but I couldn't resist buying it.

Re: What music have you been listening to lately?
I agree Winter Jam does get long. Especially with the complicated set changes and the sponsor commercials. This year was even longer for us because Cruz and Carson were both in town and both made appearances/small speech.

Re: New Bride or Guardian anyone?
I really enjoy Guardian's Buzz album.
I have two Bride greatest hits albums. They're ok I guess, but not something I revisit often.

Started listening to Crowder this week.
Neon Steeple is a good album.

Saw Crowder on the Winter Jam tour and he put on a great show, complete with singing from a country front porch.
Any Crowder fans here?
