Yes, it is Pete Orta.

I personally like the performance of I Love You Lord where Kevin joins Louie on drums.

As far as I know Bob did some producing / arranging for the self-titled album of the band Halo. I'm not sure what he exactly did. As Trodlan says, Bob did only write one song for the It's A Jungle Out There album. Check http://home.filternet.nl/~p.th.vanwingerden/petraspective/index-solo.html for mo...

Petra chords

I play a little bit of acoustic guitar myself and I've always been looking for chords of Petra-songs. I'm can't transcribe songs myself so I've always been depending on songbooks or sites like christianguitar.org. Now I've started adding some chords to my website. Most of the chords are taken from l...

No one? Okay, one more hint. The year is 1620 and it has something to do with a ship that sailed from this port to America.

American History

Okay, just to test your knowledge of your own history: Last weekend I was at a port in the Netherlands, called Delfshaven, that has played a role in American history. Currently Delfshaven is part of the city of Rotterdam. I was at the former Raadhuis (the place where the city council would reside) a...

I think David didn't do Petra any good. In 1996 John Schlitt gave an interview to a Dutch magazine. He spoke about why Jim Cooper and David Lichens were fired from the band. I'll dig that story up and try to get an accurate translation for y'all. But in the mean time you might wanna read this post o...

The first clip is a promo video for The River Is Rising (1986) and it features, as Daniel mentions, Louie and John L.

The others clips are all music videos for The Exodus (1991). These have never been released officially.

I have two different vinyl versions. The European vinyl release omits the talking Greg does between Godpleaser and It Is Finished... I also have special Australian vinyl single with The Great I Am. Perhaps someone could some time create a CITAS 2CD as a compilation of all the different audio sources...

There are three band-pictures on The Ultimate Collection. The picture on the backsleeve is from the On Fire! photoshoot (I think). Inside is an official picture from the This Means War! album. And the compilation of live-pictures is probably from the Back To The Street or This Means War! tour, after...

I wonder if this video will be on Star Song Records? EMI might want to start using the name again, just like they did for The Ultimate Collection. I think it's not at all bad timing to release this DVD this year, just after Petra has retired. EMI has seen that there is still interest in Petra, so th...

Does anyone else have the six-song demo? I have a copy and they're actually quite interesting. The demo of Breathe In features different lyrics and some demos features different melody lines.
