Either or Game- calling all lurkers

You know how it goes, you answer the previous question and then post an "A or B" type of question.

Since its short and sweet to answer, I thought we may see who still checks in occasionally.

NCAA or NBA?

Favoutite album without the "Dream team"

Ignoring the albums from On Fire to Wake Up call , what is your favourite CD? Mine would be No Doubt. Alhough the transition didn't go smoothly to Cooper and Litchens, I loved the transition in the music. The ballads "Sincerely Yours" and "We hold our Hearts out to You" are 2 of my favs. I liked the...

[quote="brent I am constantly amazed at what people consider stage presence. Personally, I did not Ronnie's stage presence. He was spastic with that side kicking of his leg, and stomping. To me, I would rather someone stand still and play his butt off. It is more impressive to me to make it look eff...

yeah I think that line up with Mark Kelly, would be my second choice. I guess after seeing Back stage pass, It made me like this lineup more. Then again I was in Primary school when that came out, and was very impressionable :D I actually thought Paul was a far superior drummer to Louie, and I like...

I think this tour was mostly sporadic dates, so I don't think there was a regularly scheduled opener.

Canada has good fishin, good eatin, and good bands (Triumph, Rush, Bryan Adams, etc). Too dang cold for me sometimes though.[/quote].

Let's not forget Simple Plan. May not be a musical heavy weight, but they give a great show and are great too their fans.

Re: Know it all ?

Hey Brent, since you seem to know so much about the Music industry, why aren't you in a hit band? or hitting it big? I got the PDC CD and it really sounds amateur, and the Lyrics are mediocre. I just feel that everytime you post something you sound so arrogant. Just my 50 cents. Although I'm sure B...

Baby

Congratulations, a baby is a blessed (and tiring!) event. You'll be in my prayers brother. A few years ago (ok 9) when my daughter was born, the doctor also schedules the c-section a couple of weeks before her due date. When we inquired if we should be worried, he said, "Oh no. I'm going on a cruise...

86 Concert Video

I really enjoyed this as well. However, the set list seemed odd because of missing BTS and Computer Brains (although Bob mentioned tehcnical difficulties that may have caused that). It was a good list, but bit of a throwback. I'm suprised they didn;t preview "Thankful Heart" or something else. I'm n...

I gotta say, I like it.

It maintained the melody, but just super-caffeined it.

As opposed to Never Say Dinosaur, you could reognize it from the Petra version.

Man, I would do anything to go to that show, but I just looked at the distance via Mapquest, and it's 4 hours and 45 minutes from where I live.

And your point being?

I've driven 8.5 hours to see them.

Amen to that.

However, I feel the cream does rise, so I'm sure we're heard some of the best for sure.

Favourite SInger

After many months of lurking (becuase of a lost password), it feels good to be back. Absolutely John Schlitt. After I saw him on the Farewell Tour, I was amazed how he has maintained most of his range. I'm also a fan of Bob Carlysle. Unfortunately, I discovered the Allies on their last tour. He is a...

Jars of Clay- Yes/No?

We get very little (near none) CCM acts near me. Jars of Clay are coming to town in a couple of months. I'm only luke warm to that style of music anyway, but is it worth $35 to go see them? Its in a secular venue, not even sure who's sponsoring it. Opinions ( and remember, this is a Christian board)...
