I love the song. By the way does the fact the download will be free still stop you from downloading it.

Re: New Song
Not talking about the people in this thread per se, but they are all reading this so I will post this and hopefully it will knock some sense into them. Most of the people on this board are on their computers with a $40/month (plus) broadband internet connection, wishing for years that their favorite band was still making albums and still reading about a band that hasn't released a new album since 2003, and a lot of them are worried about paying $0.99 for the first band single in 12 years. Just pay for the download. You've wasted more money in the last twelve years reading about the band than the price of the whole double cd. Is $14 really that much to pay when you pay ~$500/year for internet? Just my ninety-nine cents. Ok, I feel better now.GS. wrote:I love the song. I know right? I know money is tight, but is $15 too much to ask from "a true fan" no its not. We all talk about on how excited we are about anything new, but it still seems some "Petheads" will not be willing to walk the talk they are dishing out. Petra is one true Ministry in CCM that we can really support because we know its going in the right direction, but what a lot of us fail to understand is the business side needs to be good in order for the ministry side to have any affect. Just my opinion; if you disagree with it fine, but at least consider what you can do to help Petra out, and if you decide its not your best interests than by golly please don't complain when you see no fruits from this...

Re: New Song
Thanks for the YouTube, Daniel.
Not bad. It has that heavy-metal yet melodic vibe of the Jekyll & Hyde album. John Schlitt still sounds great, too.
I wouldn't mind a new album with songs like this.

Re: New Song
Yeah, I haven't seen anything that said the single was free. I saw that a video download would possibly be a surprise bonus download, but I didn't see anything about the new single being free. Can you direct me to that little nugget of information, pretty please?Boray wrote:But they said they are going to release if for free! Did you miss that?pmal wrote: Just pay for the download.

Re: New Song
I have to come back from the laying low for this:
Where did anyone in the band say the download was going to be free? That is silly. The idea is to make money, not lose money.

I haven't seen or heard anyone from Petra Proper say anything about a free download.brent wrote:Where did anyone in the band say the download was going to be free? That is silly. The idea is to make money, not lose money.
Wild speculation, or a bafflingly stated reference to free downloads in general?GS. wrote:I love the song. By the way does the fact the download will be free still stop you from downloading it.
