Merry Christmas, everyone!

So now I've finally had a chance to give this a listen, and it is excellent, a perfect fusion of classical and electric guitar, and it supports my opinion that Bob Hartman is one of the most underrated guitarists and musicians in the industry. The fact that he's able to keep pace with the technical excellence of a classical guitarist speaks highly of his skill. My only complaint about the album is that at 34-mintues, it's too short! I'm hoping Hartman and Daniel Dossmann are planning to release a "Guitar Legacy 2", or even a Bob Hartman solo album with a little harder edge.

So, nobody is talking about this excellent album. It's well done, deserves your attention, and can be had at https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/bobhartmananddanieldossm. It's also for a very good cause.

Heard the album but that style of music isn't for me, I guess. It's well-played and everything but I want Bob to just rock out on us.

He was in a rock band called Petra. Perhaps you've heard of them?

Who are those guys? Didn’t they play that gospel rock-n-roll stuff?

Seriously, though... digging this disc. It will be mine.

I think Bob should go all Satriani.

I actually said something similar after hearing his dynamite solo on the "Farewell" album. But I also said that Hartman strikes me as far too humble to release an album that's all about himself, so I wasn't really surprised to see his first instrumental release be a collaboration.

Bob's partner in this project has passed away. There is a great write up on his life at the following link:

Oh, that's terrible. Very sad to hear, but it sounds like he lived an extraordinary life, the kind of life for Christ that we should all aspire to.
