Texas Concert dates

I finally recieved an email back from TheDoorDallas, and Russell seems to be pretty positive about bringing in Petra and they over the last 2 weeks have been in contact with Petra's booking agent and things look positve about getting a deal done. Also the Underground(Sherman,Tx) has been in contact with the booking agent and things look like there a go with getting Petra. These are very good signs that Petra will play in and around Texas.

They both said that they are talking with the booking agents about the shows, but that is basically all they said besides it looking good for the shows. Russell from the Door is suppose to keep me updated.

I live in Houston, but I've never seen Petra live, so if they come to Dallas, I'll be there.

Just wondering. I live in Brownwood, and Dallas or Sherman would be good. I have seen Petra twice, back when I lived in El Paso. It would be good to see them one last time before they retire.

Here is an update on the 2 Texas shows that were possible.
1. TheDoor(Dallas) The owner of TheDoor is trying to get a deal done, but the status is up in the air. Russell is saying 50/50
2. TheUnderground(Sherman) Was at last I heard very interested in getting Petra for their regrand opening, but other than that no news on that front. Petra has played the Underground before with alot of success.

THis is not looking good.... Still no word and dates are filling in fast. What dates tenatively are they looking at for the Sherman and Dallas shows? DO they have them reserved or is it at a first come first serve.

I don't know if they have reserved any dates or not. I haven't heard any news on the underground in Sherman for a couple of months now, and the last email I recieved from the Door is that it doesn't look too great. According to Russell is that they are not returning his phone calls or emails. I will check again and let you all know. I can't believe that playing in Texas would be so hard of a thing to do.
