Only one hour?

Post by misterbob » Sun Aug 21, 2005 9:22 pm

Hi folks...we were sitting down trying to figure out how to get to one of the shows since they don't seem to be coming anywhere near Maryland at all! I read on one of the posts (by Brent?) that they are only playing an hour long set but I also read a review from Lapeer that seemed to indicate a longer set list.

The scoop please?

I was told H20 and I think John as well. This is negotiated per event usually. A festival can be less.

But, an hour for a show is about 17 songs give or take (at about 3.5 minutes per). Say they chat a bit and only sqeeze in 15 songs. Throw in a medley or something that incorporates multiple abbreviated songs, and you have a good sized show. This was not including an oncore.

The show in Enid is one hour, and there are (last I heard) about 6 bands including Petra. Two of those are part of the tour.

I clocked about 75 minutes for Lapeer.
