89.7 powerfm is going to have celebrate Petra Day on this Friday from 6AM-6PM. You can listen online if you have a chance. The concert is on that same night in Irving and according to the Station manager the concert will be totally geared to celebrate Petra's ministry. He said this concert will be different from most shows that Petra has been doing on this tour. What he meant by that I don't know he wasn't specific; He said you will have to show up to find out.

Shoot. I was hoping this was a CCM station, not a rock station. It would have given me some ammunition in my effort to convince one of the local St. Louis stations to do some sort of Petra tribute. Oh well, I'm glad that there are SOME stations out there doing this. :)

I know he is based in Texas now, but I am unaware where in Texas. It did not sound like he was on the phone or anything. That might be what the station manager was talking about this show being different.

Yes, that's what I meant. I had hoped it was a CCM AC station similar to the ones in my city.

Still, I'm glad anyone is doing a tribute.
