Another coincidence

Post by blod6ett » Wed Jan 25, 2006 4:27 pm

4HIM is a great group. But, I don't know, think there's too much concidences. Dates, declarations, titles.

Wow, it's hard to believe that were around that long. Although I never bought any of their albums becuase their style was not my cup of tea, I think they did a lot of great things.

Every band in Christendom who hangs it up from here to eternity will have "defined Christian music" for the last however many years.

Huh.. What is it with all these groups retiring.. That makes 3 recently.

Well musically they werent too bad, but the one singers voice just rubs me the wrong way. So their gonna take their top songs and "ruin" them by doing a remake eh?

FWIW "Basics Of Life" made number 66 in the book "The 100 Greatest Albums In Christian Music".

Harmony styles, arrangement styles are just that, and styles change. The Imperials faded into obscurity, The Statesmen before them, etc. It is the way things go. Apart, 4 Him is not the same.

These guys are busy with ministry. One of the guys is busy with pastoring a church that is on The Blasphemy Network often.

Do you have proof and a link? Cause I never seen one of them in that type of Blasphemy ... No offense.

TBN (The Blasphemy Network). They have alot of crap and a little good.

I did not say that 4Him or it's members were blasphemous. I said that one of them has a regular praise and worship show, from their church in TX, on TBN.

Uh...I think you have 4Him and Phillips, Craig & Dean mixed up. The show on TBN is from Randy Phillips. I know which show you are talking about.

I know that show too. I haven't seen that one lately. And actually, I had the network wrong. It's not Paul's channel. It may come in on Daystar now that I think about it.
