Oh joy... a poll. Didn't these get banned at the ezboard Zone because people were sick and tired of them or something?

Were they?

I didn't know they were banned. If they were, I apologize. Mr. Schlitt took humor in the fact there were so many polls over there at one time.

I think a poll now and then is alright but when you have one that gets obscure (John's favorite meat....chicken or beef), then I think it goes overboard.

Besides....

If they banned polls, Michah would have not enabled the feature. :D

Banned

Well... actually "banned" is a little bit strong of a word, and I apologize for that because it makes it seem like you did something against the law or something. Ezboard does have that capability and Cory turned it off at some point, but I don't exactly remember why. I think maybe the board was turning into a mess of polls and no real posts. But you're right, that doesn't HAVE to happen, and I don't see any reason we can't give polls a try here again.

I've got to do something better for my avatar. The yellow GTP logo kind of sucks. :P

Didn't think about banning polls. I think they're cool!

I voted option 2, but it was hard. I think On Fire! remains my favorite album of all time, but J&H is really, REALLY up there.

NO.1

I think it is by far my fav and best quality production wise. The rawness of this album makes it stand out among the others, but these are my other favs.

1. MPTY
2. BB
3. UP
4. TMW
5. NOTW

Wow man,

I think Jekyll & Hyde is the best and also in my opinion their first Rocker sense Wake-Up Call.

I know a lot of people don't agree, but Wake-Up Call don't drop on any part the album. It's a constant drive all the way through.

Just like Jekyll & Hyde

Since this was bumped, I might add my 2 cents. I consider Jekyll & Hyde to be pretty good, and probably on that second tier of Petra albums. I think the length both adds and subtracts from it for the following reasons. It adds because there really is no filler in it. The album is straightforward and doesn't really let up. All of the songs range from pretty good to great. However, being so short certainly leaves one feeling as if something is missing. Also, despite it being a very consistent album all throughout, I don't think there is really a memorable song in it. At least not to the levels of, say, "Creed", "Praying Man", "Judas' Kiss", etc.

I haven't listened to it in a while and went back and listened to it since this thread came back up and I will say "Life As We Know It" is so underrated and IMO is probably one of Bob's Masterpieces. The sound, vibe, & lyrical content are some of Petra's best. "Never perfect, just perfectly forgiven" is a great Bob one-liner.
