I wouldn't count on it. The Gospel Music Association hasn't been too friendly to Petra since their falling out with Word.

Oddly enough, I Like Audio Adrenaline's slower paced songs better than their faster ones, for the most part. Kudos to them for winning it.

Yeah... "Leaving 99" and "Pierced" are two excellent slow-paced songs!!

See the problem is, the category was best "Rock" album. That leaves it open to a lot of interpretation but to say that AA rocked better than Petra or Reliant K is just silly. I liked both of those albums much better as AA is more like a pop rock band to me. Petra's problem is they'll never win again until they become very popular, if at all. The Grammy's caught so much flack from CCM when Petra won for Double Take that I think that kept them from winning this year, imo, and will keep them from winning in the future. I think they just gave it to the top seller ...

Naw...... Grammy voters don't pay attention to the goings-on and ramblings of the ccm community.

If voters gave the nod to the top sellers - then DOUBLE TAKE would have NEVER won. It didn't sell well, but it's still worthy of a Grammy, based on artistic merit.

That is a very special album for me, coming at a very special time.

AA and rock

Hrmm... I don't really agree with that. The Grammy doesn't go to the album that "rocked better." The Grammy goes to the rock album that was best. And "Worldwide" was definitely a rock album, not a pop album.

Relient K's album this year was okay, but not better than Worldwide. (RK's previous album, "Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek", was better than "Two Lefts don't make a right, but three do")

If anyone was going to beat Petra, I'm glad it was AA. "Worldwide" was a good album, and I think it was great it won.

that AA won.

Is a great band too that I believe they live what they sing.

Let`s pretend petra gave them a chance so we won`t get sad
