I was just wondering, why you guys thought it should have been nominated? It had very little impact in stores or radio, I doubt many in the ccm industry even heard it.

Glad Bebo's song got nominated as song, Jars should have been all over the place. But the biggest joke was MWS as artist of the year, come on, was the year in ccm that bad?

It's probably not a totally bad thing that they're not popular with the industry when you stop to think about it...

Awards are nice, but it shouldn't be about awards.

It's our friend BillDD again! Yay!!

I don't think anybody in this thread said it "should have been nominated"... we all know the Dove awards are about who sells the most CDs, not necessarily who makes the best music. We would have liked to see Petra on the list because we love Petra and think JAH is a kickin' CD, but if they had been nominated I think I would have fallen right out of my chair. The CCM industry doesn't like Petra right now.

No way. I can't believe it. No kidding.

It's inconceivable that Petra would be ignored by the CCM industry.

Hmmm...I don't care.

FOR ME, PETRA IS THE BEST AND THAT`S WHAT MATTERS TO ME :D

They might not receive a dove nomination but God will reward them for being available so He could use them for touching my life, PERIOD! :D

I would think the best award is to have such a large fan base all over the world after 30 years. Not to dismiss all the people saved at the shows and lives touched.

Which goes to show you money talks.

For once I agree with BillyDD about MWS...He's written some good songs, but whoever told him he could sing should have their head examined. :P

I don`t know why

but I don`t like amy grant. it has nothing to do with her life is just that i don`t like her.

i believe this trauma started when a friend borrow me a tape of many videos of christian bands of the 80`s and petra only appeared once (whole world) and amy grant like a thousand of times.

Hehe. I can understand how that would be annoying. :D That's okay, not everyone is required to be an Amy fan either. I actually like her older stuff better than I do her more recent stuff.

"Whole World" is a good video. :)

What really counts it is the ministry

I was not waiting any nomination.

God is the reason that makes Petra lives.

Think about it
