New logo for the zone

What do you guys think of having a design competition to make a new logo? maybe something for the zones 10th B'day?

I've got no skills to do that, but sure, why not a new logo? Maybe something with Classic in it?

How about using Daniel's signature pic, take out 'Petra Rocks" and put in "The Dream Team.....CLASSIC!!"

Are we already talking about this again? I don't think we need to keep changing the logo over and over.
If we do, we should talk about changing the look of the zone all together.

I was just thinking of something fun to do, if everyone wants a complete style change? post examples of forums looks that are appealing we can get ideas from them. I just know I have seen some amazing talent on the zone over the years and it would be good to show more of it. Brent and I was talking about this on the phone one time about the talent on the zone, there is enough here to do some pretty big projects.

I still think some of us need to form a team of web and graphics designers to present a company just for the service of Petra and curent and former members. So Petra would always look good on the web and they would never have to worry about the expenses of that part of their ministry.

Heck, our pay could be free product...lol

How about a More Power to Ya / Not of this world - inspired theme with a black background and flying space guitars / spaceship control buttons etc...?

Instead of updating the Logo so much, let's keep the sword logo with THE and ZONE around it.
Then let's see about dropping a background into this thing maybe like the "Ultimate Colleciton" photo with all the album covers of Petra with a fade so it dosn't overtake the text. Then make it a dark-ish theme like "Not of This World" & "More Power To Ya" coloring with the board. Check out the message board below so you can see what I mean about the background idea.

I think something like this would be alot better, because there is way more different lineups than just the two in the photo above. Just stick to something that represents Petra from 1972 to today.
