God Fixation CD cover...

Post by LivingRock » Wed May 09, 2012 8:05 pm

Okay, I keep forgetting to ask this question, but Leandro Seeger's post about Jekyll and Hyde made me think of it. If you have your God Fixation CD next to you, grab it. Take out the lyrics sheet and look inside. See the guy with the nametag "Gabe" pouring the coffee in the cafe? Now, look at the grayscale picture where all the band members are walking along with the bus behind them. Is that same guy in the driver's seat, still pouring coffee?!?! Is that supposed to be one of those, "Let's see how long it takes 'em to notice this one" moments?? Or am I losing my mind??

"Pethead" is not a title. It's a way of life.

I usually notice all things like that, but this one I totally missed. To talk about another album cover, I had back in the day a full size poster of the album cover for PP1, but the weirdest thing was Ronnie & Louie had swapped places on the mountain for this shot but they were standing pose wise exactly like each other from the actual album cover which Ronnie standing straight with his hands folded in front and Louie leaning on his left leg.

I'd never noticed it.

I've never seen that TRCO variation. Photoshop in those days? Now you can pretty easily make your own!

I wish I still had all my posters; when you get a wife and kids your stuff seems to become not important in the whole family situation and you even lose your office.
