I like how you can hear John Schlitt singing in Head East "Never been any Reason" in one of the backgound tracks in the 1993 movie "Dazed and Confused" staring Matthew McConaughey,Ben Affleck,and other at the time low profile actors.

One time Dorla told us that John was once on Gospel Bill. She didn't know which one, though. I think it was actually "Bill Gunter, U.S. Marshal", though, because my family has all the episodes of Gospel Bill and Adventures In Dry Gulch, and John wasn't on any of those.
Man, John's a movie star and most of the Petheads don't even know it!
