Petra rained out at Creation.

Such a shame for everyone who went to Creation because Petra was playing. I don't want to throw the Creation folks under the bus. They've dealt with a lot over the 21 years I've been going, and much more going back to 1979. However, they knew the storm was coming and probably should have bumped the start of the evening shows until after the storm passed. Instead they started on time and Petra got through four songs before they had to stop. The rain was blowing and the equipment was getting wet. Bob's rig was shorting out. They sounded awesome though and Christian was awesome. They opened with Beat the System, Dance, Creed, and Amazing Grace with Christian's solo. Perhaps Creation will do the close to right thing and invite them back next year.

That's a shame, I know you've been looking forward to seeing them. I've been rained out twice with Petra(WUC Tour & No Doubt Tour) but they rescheduled both and got to see them at a later date. Too be honest I've never been a huge outside concert lover, so much can go wrong...

John's voice was certainly in fine form... he sounds GREAT!! I love his energy as well! Too bad it got rained out, would've been a heck of a show! And everyone else sounded fantastic as well.
