Hey. I know it's late, but for what it's worth my review of John Schlitt's Christmas CD is up at www.furf.blogspot.com. Also, I have recently reviewed projects by The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan and Thousand Foot Krutch. Feel free to click on the 'like' button at the top of my blog. Thanks.

That's a great review. Even if it had panned the album, which it does not do, it's really well done. Great mix of opinion with facts and information about the album content, the songs, and the players involved. I had no idea those musicians played on the album. Makes me want to hear it all the more. Those guys have done some legendary stuff.

My 8-year old and I were listening to CITAS in the car yesterday, and I forgot that GXV sings the "Hallelujah Chorus" on that album. This then prompted my kiddo to ask when we were going to listen to John Schlitt's version. Ha!

That's right, was that on the Cassette version? it wasn't on the Video of CITAS?

It's on all versions of CITAS, including the VHS/DVD.

I just wanted to say that John's Christmas album never seems to get old. It's truly a joy to listen to, and after all these years, I'm just now noticing the excellent production work from the harmonies in the BGVs to the quality of the musicians playing. John recently responded to one of my Facebook comments saying that he wouldn't mind making a Volume 2! Hmm...

Oh I'd be all over that. If he decided to do that, and to go through Kickstarter again, I'm in!
