It's about 30 miles away from my location, but I know the area even though I haven't been out that way in a while. I'm searching Google Maps to see if I can find anything and I'm coming away empty handed. My understanding(very limited) is that Fema sets up storage locations near where they feel there could be a high volume of natural disasters that has emergency supplies. This area is on the south end of Tornado Alley so I would say that is most likely what you are seeing.

this has got to be one of the most OFF-TOPIC threads I've seen in a long time. Christmas to FEMA.... now THAT's a stretch!

by the way Sue, I received my CDs on Monday which was in plenty of time cuz I'm meeting my friend tomorrow. I really do like the cover, and had forgotten about the autographs...now it's even better!

I had too, and a bonus.....not having to deal with trying to get the blankety blank blank wrapper and sealer off!
