The Petra Zone

... and all you had was a Bible, a CD player, and 5 Christian CD's... what would they be?Obviously, Petra CD's will make everyone here's list... but lets not limit this to Petra. That being said.... my five are: 1) Shake 2- Soul Survivor by Ken Tamplin 3) On Fire by Petra 4) To Hell with the Devil by Stryper and 5) I Predict 1990 by Steve Taylor. So... what do you guys choose? Should be fun!

I would have Mary Anne make me a drink in the blender The Professor made with some junk from the S.S. Minnow, then call for help using the cell phone created by The Professor, from the CD Player and radio from the boat. I would have Gilligan get me a volley ball and a Sharpie, and I would walk around, talking to Wilson about how I could get an autograph and a date from Ginger, the movie star.

Interesting question. My collections isn't very deep and includes a few local acts.

1) Petra- CITS
2) Petra- Beyond Belief
3) Allies- Long Way from Paradise
4) Final Destination- self-titled
5) Praise and Worship 50 (Compilation)

David and the Giants gets an honourable mention too.

Those are really good albums from Guardian and PFR. Really miss PFR. Too bad they changed their mind about doing a kickstarted.

They did a couple of reunion albums already which are both good. Disappear is great and The Bookhouse Recordings features new recordings of the classics, but in a good way. A few new tunes on it too.

From my current collection, I'd chose:
Crumbacher - Escape From the Fallen Planet!
Petra - This Means War!
Petra - Beat the System
Newsboys - Born Again
John Lawry - Media Alert

There would be lots I'd miss, though... so I don't plan on actually doing this

It would be hard to limit it to only five, but The Ultimate Collection CD has a lot of Petra songs that I like, so I'd take that one. Nothing in the rules says it can't be a collection CD with songs from different CDs. And it's my post and I'll cheat if I want to.

I like John's solo albums a lot. Shake and his Christmas Project are my favorites so I'd take those.

I like Master and the Musician by Phil Keaggy a lot.

I like the River Is Rising by Greg Volz a lot. Like I said though, hard choice. I like the majority of the CDs that have been mentioned.
