I'm sorry to say this, but what a ridiculous photograph on the back.

I love the front photo. But the back photo is bad unfortunately for me because of the way John is doing his hand.

I know John was just foolin' around, but it looks a bit Third Reich. (Yes, I said it.) I would have chosen another photo.

Jon knox probably built forts when he was a kid. That would make his Fort Knox. Just sayin'.

It impresses me as a kind of look-how-popular-and-in-touch-with-today-we-are, while that's not really what they are. It's too frivolous for a serious rock band that haven't proven themselves yet. I could see this work as a third/fourth album photograph of an established rock band (and then somewhere on the inside, rather than prominently on the back), but it doesn't work on the first effort of a new band (even though the members are all seasoned musicians). I think it won't damage them a lot because the established fan bases of White Heart and Petra will come together and buy this anyway. And even though I'm glad they're goofin' around and havin' fun, it would've been better to keep this on fb rotation rather than in stores and online outlets. An fb picture would disappear after a while, but people who purchase hard copy will be confronted with this picture for as long as they have the CD in rotation.

The front cover is much better, it's like Vertical Expressions as it should've been.

I think you are missing the humor of it. John for example is doing a 90s rapper pose. I think the whole point of it is that they are all old has beens, but can still put it out. They may not be relevant now, but they still rock. Hence the title of the song. This is going to be purchased by fans. The fans are going to know these guys for the most part. It would have been better if they posed with rockers and walkers, wearing plaid shorts, black socks, flip flops and stained up wife beaters.

Totally agree about the VE cover. This concept has been overdone on secular and Christian releases.

It would have been great for them to recreate this Whiteheart album cover, pushing John down the hall on the gurney.

Hahaha... never saw that cover before. That would have been bad... hilarious, but bad! lol

I never saw this as a Third Reich pose... his hand should be UP if that was what he was doing.

This is more like a rapper thing. The kid below has got it. Maybe John took a hand pose lesson from this dude, added his own flare and there you go.

Anybody who knows who these guys are (and let's face it, if you're interested in this album then you know who these guys are) also knows that they have more than proven themselves with long, successful, and distinguished careers.

The good old days when album covers were used to make an artistic statement...

Hmm...I prefer the Whiteheart version. Let's just hope John leaves the sporadic dance moves to Rick.

So far I'd say Brother to Brother is the standout track.

John's pose kind of looks like he just finished shooting a basketball lol. Absolutely nothing even even remotely reich'ish about that pose. I see enthusiasm in that picture from all of them. That enthusiasm reflects in the songs which, from what I've heard, all sound very good.
