The Band Van (Coloring Song)

Post by brent » Sat Feb 20, 2016 1:00 am

Red is the color of my Fender Rhodes
And the case has fallen upon my toes
I play in a band, with a pastor's son
He's is really odd, He's the only one
That can keep a job, that can pay for blow
That can light a fart and make it glow

Blue is the color of a van so old
That will not start when the weather's cold
think it threw a rod and we lost a race
then the coolant flowed what a disgrace
That a Ford got beat by a Chevrolet
and it smells like feet that are decayed

Brown is the color of the sound we make
When we play our songs with huge mistakes;
If it had a fragrance, then the crowd would frown
It would smell like presents upon the lawn;
That a Do-ber-man left the other day,
And is not something with which to play;

Gold is the color of our flashy teeth
Cuz we're doing rap like the other freaks;
Well we aint got talent so we play for tips
And our record sales are in the pits;
And until we land us a movie deal
Can you give spare change for a daily meal?

My dog has a secret that he lets nobody see
An evil shadow that's been hanging over him
His alter ego that I try to get to stay
But despite my good intentions he always runs away

He does the things only bad doggies do
Sometimes Barney feels like Jekyll and Hyde
Two dogs are fighting a war outside

Barney has a secret that he lets nobody see
He's got a split personality
And the one I feed is the one who wins
The one I scold will be the one who gives in

He won't do things that good dogs should do

Sometimes Barney feels like Jekyll and Hyde
Two dogs are fighting a war outside
One digs, one doesn't, he'll have to decide
Sometimes, Barney feels like, Jekyll and Hyde

He needed somebody to rescue him
From the SPCA
He knows which doggie he needs to be
One that obeys
And one who will stay

Don't let your axe be unsharpened - don't let your axe go dull
May it always stay so shiny - may it never grow too dull
Don't let your axe go unsharpened - may it always chop some wood
Keep it sharpened before using, keep it covered, clean, and oiled
