I preordered on Amazon, but it seems they're only gonna post it today, so it'll take at least three weeks to get here. Patience required...

Available for download. I'd like to read lyrics to "The Call"

Am listening to the CD now!!! It is great!! I bought it today at Lifeway. Somewhere I read that Lifeway is the exclusive place to buy the CD.

I picked up the Union CD at Lifeway on Friday. So far, I like what I hear.
Here's what NRT had to say about it:

I've listened to the album about a dozen times now, and I must say, I miss Bob Hartman's hard hitting Bible based lyrics. While "Beyond Belief" has now appeared on 4 albums (including the widely panned Double Take), hearing this updated version feels like an old friend stopping by for a visit. Maybe I was hoping for too much in a Petra/Whiteheart supergroup, but I think that The Greater Cause>The Union of Sinners & Saints' self-titled album. :|

+1 for lyrics posted.
Bob's lyrics might have been hard hitting Bible, but generally they lacked depth. On Union of Sinners & Saints, see The Call or Bittersweet.

Is it just me, or is The Union of Sinners & Saints really set on "unfurling banners"? Both "Brother to Brother" and "Independence Day" use that same reference.

If the Newsboys didn't unfurl, we probably wouldn't have Steve Taylor and the Perfect Foil.

To furl or not to furl.. that is the question.

Oh, no way - not even close!

To each his (her) own. Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm glad to have something new by John!

Interview with John Schlitt and Billy Smiley and a new song Brother to Brother
That third song ("???????") is "Let the Kingdom Come" by Whiteheart which lets us know that John is covering more than just "Independence Day."

Found this on Billy's Facebook. It's not the whole set list...but hey it's something. Would love to know what the second half of this looked like. Loving the CD. John sounds amazing. The best he has in years. I sure hope the word on this CD gets out and people take notice.

This excerpt is taken from their Facebook page.

"...they will perform many #1 songs like Beyond Belief, Independence Day, The Coloring Song, The River Will Flow, Hit You Where You Live, Desert Rose, and a special Foo Fighters cover."

I suspect Billy's photo is intentional so as not to reveal the "special Foo Fighters cover."
