What About Bob?

Post by wildmanpetra » Sun Jun 26, 2016 4:26 pm

With the Union of Sinners and Saints release, and the possible new release of GXV, the question is...does anyone know what Bob is up to? Does he have any future plans, or is he done for good?
Would love to see him involved in another project.

Bob is credited as having played both the guitar solo & the slide guitar solo on the new version of "Beyond Belief" by The Union of Sinners & Saints. Bob will also be performing with Petra for their one show (so far) this year on July 23rd in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

I sent your post to Bob and this was his reply:

"Actually, I have been working on an album with someone from my church. There is a family of missionaries who now live here and they were from France. When they were missionaries to Equador and their son was a teenager, he discovered Petra. He introduced his parents to our Beyond Belief video and they loved it. He has started a missionary retreat here and it has already been very successful. They have funded much of it with recordings of his father, who plays and composes classical guitar. We are doing an album together."
