So far I believe seven of the new songs are "Judas' Kiss," "It Is Finished," "Dream On," "All Over Me," "Praise Ye The Lord," "Not Of This World," and "For Annie." It's not a bad list. There are some on this list I'd replace with others, so hopefully the rest of the album will surprise me. That's just my opinion. Everyone will have an opinion about the album. I'm just glad to hear some stuff and see these guys working together.

Your list seems to be accurate from what they've leaked so far. Perhaps the other 3 tracks will be wild cards. Who knows? God only knows...sorry...I had to throw that in there. (Hopefully Greg will leave that song off this list.)

How about Stand Up, Taste and See, Come and Join Us?

I'd love to hear a modern version of "Hollow Eyes." Ronny could play Mark's synth part on bass. Also, I wonder if they would change any of the lyrics to fit anything going on in 2017. I'm really not thrilled about "Dream On," but, yet again, just my opinion. Other than that, "Road to Zion" and "Stand Up" would be my other choices. Actually, a new version of "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" wouldn't be bad. I love the original except it's a little too long. The Beat the System version was too synth for me.

What if...follow me on this one. What if one of those 3 tracks featured guest vocalist, John Schlitt. What then? Again...sorry for the Greg X. Volz solo material reference.

I don't believe John Schlitt is part of CPR! That would be awesome!

So it's all remakes? Back to the Rock was fun and all, but I really don't want any more remake albums. Seems like Greg is trying to recapture his glory days.

Come on, guys, take a lesson from The Union of Sinners and Saints and give us some new music!

They will sell more doing remakes than originals at this point, and it will lead to more gigs.

Few legacy bands release anything new that connects with listeners the way their catalog of hits can. Go to any show and watch Journey, Def Leppard, The Rolling Stones, Foreigner, etc. People sit down or hit the cans when the new songs are played. Their age of inspiration is not what it was and our age of influence has long gone. It's the cycle of life.

Agreed. New albums for "legacy bands" = an opportunity to tour.

The Union of Sinners and Saints seems to be doing well enough with original material. They apparently have two more albums in the works.

That sounds awesome. Have you heard of a possible release date for the new music? I have really enjoyed the Union of Sinners and Saints CD. I thought the new songs were very good. The remakes of Beyond Belief and Independence Day were exceptional IMHO.

I loved what S&S's did with Independence Day. I was really hoping to hear Volz sing Schlitt era songs in CPR, but I am more than happy that we are still getting music from these legends.
