Sue (or anyone who knows),
Can you give us an update on John's work on his new album? I love his new song and can't wait for more!
Thanks
Andy

Re: John Schlitt's new album
He IS working on a new album, with a variety of producers (Dan Needham plus a few from the Jay Sekulow Band). You're right - The Greater Cause is the best he's done - and this album set the bar so very high. John realizes that this new one HAS to exceed TGC!
I don't have a release date or anything close to that at this time...

Re: John Schlitt's new album
Hi Everyone,
I just got a bit more information from the source himself! I spoke with John Schlitt last night at the Union of Sinners and Saints Lexington, Kentucky, show. I asked him about how the new project is coming, and here's what he said (paraphrased):
It's coming along. I'm working with three different producers to give all of them a chance to have a hand in it, with each producer working on several of the songs. One of them is John Lawry(!). It looks like I'm going to need to re-record/re-sing three of the songs before final production and mixing can be completed. [He seemed to rather not have to do this, but he accepts that it needs to be done for reasons I didn't fully understand.]
See my other post re: the concert itself. It was jaw-droppingly great!
