Is it just me, or has John done two different songs with the same title within five years of each other?

That's interesting. You mean "Stand" from Jekyll and Hyde? Yeah, that was probably my favorite song on that album btw.

Yup, I noticed that too.
But they both cover way different topics.

Yea, I was thinking of the one from Jekyll and Hyde. As another bit of trivia, Michael W. Smith's newest non-Christmas album is called Stand -- with the title cut called "The Stand" (not related to Stephen King).

And then Petra also has "Stand Up" and "Stand In The Gap".
Greg X. Volz has "Standin" and "Standing On The Promises".

Speaking of which, and I'm gonna mention this several times on a couple of posts, I was listenening to The Grafting on the internet today. Then after my basketball game, I was listening to the Petra CD, Unseen Power. I listened to the song "Hey World" and I noticed that The Grafting and it have several key things that are the same. They both talk about giving a child a second chance and several other things.

A Petra "Double Take" as far as theme goes would be "Altar Ego" and "Jekyll and Hyde" with the latter definetly being the better! lol.
