sorry if I missed it and this has been posted already! Im not into punk that much, but i checked out Alakrity's cd, and i like it. And the cover they have done on Beyond Belief with John! Cool!

FAirly cool - thanks for posting, Michael.
PS: I will say that it's very difficult for anyone to match John Schlitt's vocal ability and style, but I'm glad some younger folks are aware of Petra and are working to continue their legacy.

Really cool to hear the cd-version of that cover!
Man, John's voice never stop to surprise me! Also love his voice in the live "sound check" version.

A thought that hit me about Petra: Petheads use to be hard to pleasure. But, why not? Our favourite band have one of the best guitarists and songwriter; the coolest lead voice; fastest drummer etc... and they use their gifts in Jesus name. Thats cool!

I bought Alakrity's Beyond Belief from iTunes a few days ago. It's growing on me! :)
It's really cool the note exactly which lyrics John sings on their version - very apropos.
