John, the wedding singer?

Post by TexMetal4JC » Mon May 31, 2004 4:33 pm

Hey all,

I know John has done weddings before for people; I was wondering if anybody had any info as to whether he still does that, for whom he does it, how much he charges, etc etc... I'm getting married in August; I introduced my fiancee to Petra, and "Love" is one of her favorite songs, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask..

Thanks!

Sue would probably be the best person to answer that one, but that is sort of short notice. You'd probably have to plan a little further in advance to book him for a wedding. But it is worth a try.

There's a guy who posts on Inpop's message board who had John sing at his wedding, but I think he planned like a year in advance. That was back in 1998, too, it wasn't something very recent.

I was going to say the same thing shell did. I think that this pethead had to pay between 2500 to 5000 dollars but still , I don`t know. Ask Sue about it :)

Go ahead and check with Sue. I'll bet John would be happy to do a wedding, schedule permitting; Petra's not working that much at the moment.

Here I am - ask me! :)

Yes, he's open to doing things like this.

August's calendar is fairly full, but send me an email and we'll see what's possible.
