Happened to see the reunion show with the 1972 lineup a few years back and I have to disagree. I thought Bob, Bill, John DeGroff, and Greg Hough put on a heckuva show (you should have heard "Storm Comin'" and "Three Blind Mice"). So very transcendent. I love you daniel, but you're gonna get my Irish up.

I have always believed that Petra would sound greater with two good live guitarists instead of one. I found proof with the night of joy concert at petrafiles.

Does not look like will see it! Sue has been asking for it for a while.
Sue, according to the Hills alive Website the Petra line up is John,Bob & Greg Hough. Is that correct? or do they mean Greg Bailey! Who will be on drums?

I thought Josh from petrarocksmyworld.com mentioned on a post that Petra sold 40K of Revival and 40-45k of J&H. He would have to clarify that of course. I may be mistaken, it was a few years ago.
Yes, I did get album sales information from Inpop in May 2005:

* Revival- 49890
* Jekyll & Hyde - 45324
* Jekyll & Hyde En Espanol - 434

The numbers would be higher now, five years later, but I have no idea how much higher.

danielaussie wrote:Obviously if you wanted to create a lot of interest you need to get a Petra line up from a popular period; not the last incarnation. This was already established when there was rumors of John, Johnny, Bob, Louie and Ronny.
I disagree. I really enjoyed the concerts those last years with Greg and Paul. I'd love to see them again in concert.

It's really sad that Jekyll & Hyde en Español did so badly. All due to lowsy marketing and distribution. How can you expect a Spanish album to sell well if it's hardly distributed in South America?

No, not correct. It will be Greg Bailey. I've asked them to change that name on there. Not sure where they got that from!

The drummer is not determined yet. It MIGHT be Paul if he's not touring. If he IS unavailable, then we're looking at Dan Needham, who played out in Sioux Falls with the guys.

Sue, can we completely rule out Louie?

To answer your question see the interview John did for New Years Eve!
