Favorite Christian bands?
Which other Christian artists do you guys like? Rez had some good songs. I like a lot of Newsboys (Furler era). Don Francisco.
What are the best Larry Norman songs? Who else?

Re: Favorite Christian bands?
Classics in no order:
Petra and all related
Stryper
Servant
Guardian
DeGarmo and Key
Whitecross
Phil Keaggy
Larry Norman
Randy Stonehill
Rez Band/Glenn Kaiser
I admire the songwriting genius that is Terry Scott Taylor, but most of his recorded output hasn't really done anything for me, but the first couple of Daniel Amos albums are stellar.
I love how tastes vary...I used to LOVE DC Talk, but _Jesus Freak_ was their last great album. Supernatural did NADA for me. DC Talk is also a case of the total being greater than the sum of the parts...most of the solo stuff has completely eluded me. And while I appreciate the passion that Tait has brought to the Newsboys...they don't sound like the Newsboys anymore.
I also really enjoy Kinetic Faith-era Bride (KF, Snakes in the Playground, Scarecrow Messiah)...basically everything covered by the _Shotgun Wedding_ compilation.
Not classic, but not totally current either:
Focused (Early Tooth and Nail band featuring Dirk Lemmenes, later of Stavesacre)
Stavesacre
MxPx
Current stuff I'm digging:
Skillet
Disciple
Brian 'Head' Welch
Decyfer Down
The Letter Black
Project 86
The Wedding
P.O.D. (although _Angels and Serpents_ is probably my least favorite of their albums. It helps that I was a fan during the pre-Atlantic era, when you could actually go to a P.O.D. show and get up close to the stage.)
Dad's a big fan of White Heart, but only a few of their albums have really grabbed me (mostly Curb Records-era stuff like _Inside_.)
In 2004 at the C-stone 20th Anniversary party, I was sitting on the hill screaming out the lyrics to the Rez Band songs. The 12-year-old Relient K fans had no clue why I was so excited...I just looked at them and said, "Listen, I've been wanting to see these guys since before you were born!"
