Where can we find the recipe? I love to cook, and I am always looking for new ideas.

http://www.JohnWSchlitt.com, click on "Family Projects" and then "Dorla's World-Famous Recipes." I'd post the direct URL, but then if you lost it you'd have to ask again. ;)

Cat hardly EVER makes me roast. She usually makes me Taco Bueno. hehe Image

That's spot-on the same recipe my wife inherited from her mother. It makes a very good roast.

That roast recipe does look good. I love roast.

I tried making that Texas chocolate cake of Dorla's a while ago and somewhere I must've goofed. It calls for 1 lb. of powdered sugar for the frosting...is that a blooper or what, cause after I made the frosting and spread it on the cake it turned rock hard and was literally crystallized. Pure sugar. We kinda nibbled on the cake and I ended up dumping the rest. Maybe I should just leave the cake making to Dorla.

No, I'm not a bad cook. LOL! Normally anything I make turns out rather well, just not that time I guess! *shrug*
