My favorites

Post by Petrafan4life79 » Sat Jan 17, 2004 1:02 am

Next to Petra I'd have to say Stryper and Michael W. Smith. I really don't have 'other favorites'. I pretty much just listen to Christian radio and whatever CD my husband has playing. But then, I prefer Petra over any other band.

BANDS

Post by executioner » Sat Jan 17, 2004 8:27 am

Christian: Skillet, Jonah33, Stryper, Rez, Bloodgood

Secular: Bon Jovi, Queensryche, NickelBack, Journey

Most music today is very shallow, so I tend to stay with some older stuff.

I'm an 80's, early 90's person. But I listen to mostly rock and pop music in both the Christian and secular worlds.

I swing anywhere from old Amy Grant to Rammstein, Richard Marx to Relient K.

I really only listlen to Petra. So many of the rest are fake so I dont wast my time.

I do like country and Toby Keith, Waylon, George Jones and Ricky Skaggs.

The boys like Skilett and JK 5 2 and all that , they say I am to old to get it. So I cant tell them I would listlen if they wanted me to. Got to keep that parent role never get out of it.

You know, I have a whole new respect for her after we went to the performance of !Hero here in Tulsa. After the show we were surprised that hardly anyone from the cast was coming out for autographs; apparently they had been told not to. The few band members that did come out were great, signing autographs and being very nice. We eventually found Rebecca... she was talking to someone in the auditorium (everyone was in the lobby), and when we went down to meet her a HUGE crowd of people came with us. She told us that the reason the cast wasn't coming out was that they had been told by management (?) or someone to rest... they had done TWO performances of the show that day, one earlier to no audience! (They were shooting the show for DVD and I guess needed some footage in the can in case something went bad during the performance.) She was obviously tired, but she was SO nice to the whole crowd of us. She signed autographs, as far as I know, for the whole crowd... it must have been at least fifty people. What a sweetheart.

SHE IS THE BEST :D

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, I pray I can meet her someday, at least to be able to see her on a concert. MMMMMMM, maybe if I go to some rebeca saint james zone and get along with one of her book agents that might be a fan too, maybe a rebeca saint james convention will happen and that book agent invites me to visit!!!!

!Hero

Post by Michael » Wed Jan 21, 2004 8:32 am

!Hero isn't technically a RSJ project... it's a rock opera featuring her along with a number of other artists (most notably Michael Tait of Tait/DC Talk). You can find out more about it at Hero Universe.

Elo, I haven't cheezed you in DAYS!!! Image
