Happy Thanksgiving from your ol friend Bakes…….
As I sit down pondering what to do I was almost in tears,
It’s been poor this season, so no turkey this year,
I couldn’t imagine not celebrating Thanksgiving,
But without a main dish something would be missing,
When something kept disrupting my thoughts,
That rooster from next door is my yard and is caught,
He keeps coming over and can’t get back,
I keep wanting to complain but my neighbor is ne---ve—r…hmm
It just hit me; my neighbor is never there,
I looked and looked and He was no where,
I turned around and stared down that rooster,
I said you just saved Thanksgiving; I’ll get the slow-cooker,
I slept late the next morning and the morning after that,
Until my neighbor got back,
Dang it, He got another Rooster!!!!! Ehhhh, but Christmas is around the corner
