I have heard of this, and manage to make it there just about every year, whether I plan to or not. Muskegon is about a half hour drive from me.

Definitely have heard of this, though have never been to it. I imagine it is tougher to put on festivals in today's economy, but that's the right area for huge support. It looks it was started it in 2001, which is the year we moved from MI to PA. That would explain why we've never been. We did go to World Pulse Fest down in Indiana one year, and I've gone to Creation every year since 92. Interestingly, I've seen 4 different incarnations of Petra there during that span. The so called Dream Team twice, the WUC call version once, the God Fixation Petra, and also Farewell Petra. Another interesting note about Creation is that Newsboys played every festival but one during that span, and they actually started there in 89 or 90.

I believe John Lawry was gone and Jim Cooper was doing keys.

If it's only a half hour from you, it does make sense that you would make it.Jonathan wrote:I have heard of this, and manage to make it there just about every year, whether I plan to or not. Muskegon is about a half hour drive from me.

Jonathan, c'mon man, where I live we consider Toronto the "deep south."

No, Newfoundland, although I grew up in Ontario, twelve hours (yes, that's twelve hours) north of Toronto.
