Hi there

Post by Psalm37v4 » Sun May 19, 2013 4:53 am

Hi everyone,

I discovered this site thru a Google search. :) My username is derived from one of my fave scriptures.

I'm not a troll or spammer, so I hope I won't come across as one.
I'm a big fan of Christian music from the late 70s (and some early 70s too) onward, so Petra is one of many Christian artists I like.

I also sing for the Lord and have a music ministry...as a result of my music tastes I've gotten lots of accompaniment tracks, including Petra stuff and even some rare custom-made trax (by others). I've sung with some of them, and others I sing at home or with friends, or just listen to. There is nothing better than praising the Lord!

Recently while doing a search for accompaniment tracks I found some topics on here about them, including some Petra trax some are looking for, and I might be able to help. I also found a couple mp3 trax that needed some "repairs" so I have attempted to do that via Audacity. (By repairs I mean repairing/replacing skipped portions, minor noise removal, or patching parts of a track that are garbled with a section from either the original recording or another portion of the track.) They're not perfect, but I try to make them useable and always keep the original mp3 "just in case".

Since I have many cassettes and trax on cassette, it'll take a little time to dig them up but I'm pretty sure I can help, and I would love to bless others.

So with that said, thanx for letting me join and I hope to hear from you all! ;) Feel free to ask questions.

Love in Christ Jesus,
Lynda

feel free to start new topics - but know that there's a bit of debate when it comes to the abbreviation of Captured in Time & Space. For the record, it's CITAS.

My goodness Matthew why are we do we keep agreeing with each other. CITAS is the correct abbreviation. BTW I've always used JAH for the abbreviation for Jekyll & Hyde.

Welcome to the Zone Lynda. Enjoy your time here. We're a lively bunch. I've been listening to Christian bands since the late 70s too; Second Chapter of Acts and Barry McGuire were a couple of my favorites.

And it is CITAS and J&H by the way.

thanx all for the welcome!

I always use the & symbol for "And" in an album title. So for me CITAS would CIT&S.
