The Petra Zone

I had the privilege of seeing the Peter Furler band perform at the Creation Festival last week. I thought specifically of Jonathan during the set. Peter has added some band members. I don't know if that is a permanent thing or was just special for Creation. The band included Jared Byers on drums, Bryan Oleson, Jimmy Abegg, and Peter on guitars, and Dave Ghazarian on bass. They played some of Peter's solo material, but the set was mostly older Newsboys stuff. Lost the Plot, Breakfast, Not Ashamed, Million Pieces, Something Beautiful, etc. It was great to hear those songs again, and hear Peter's voice. Not touring full tilt with Newsboys has done wonders for his voice.
Can't wait to see them again.

Iiiiiinteresting. Abegg plays with him in Perfect Foil. I might like to see that.
