Head East Live! on Vinyl

I found a copy of Head East Live! on vinyl yesterday at a local record store. It is a double LP, but instead of being laid out in the typical format (sides 1 and 2 on the first LP and sides 3 and 4 on the second LP), sides 1 and 4 are on the first LP and sides 2 and 3 are on the second LP. Anyone know why?

I don't know why, but my US pressing is the same. I have a Dutch pressing and a Japanese pressing for Head East Live! and they follow the normal 1-2 3-4 pattern. Perhaps it helped in speeding up the pressing process at the factory?

Quite possibly. I did a quick google search and came up with nothing. Perhaps I can ask John if he ever tours near here again.
